$5 million grant awarded for 5 years

Funded by the Australian Government's National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC), Synergy Grants support outstanding multidisciplinary teams of investigators to work together to answer major questions that cannot be answered by a single investigator.

The Synergy Grant is a $5 million grant awarded for 5 years. Our program aims to build on the unique intellectual property (IP), resources and multidisciplinary collaborative networks we have developed over the last decade within the teams involved. Integrating unique resources with complementary expertise from 20 diverse CIs/AIs.
